A few words about Erasmus+

The Erasmus+ programmme is the European Commission’s program for Education, Training, Youth and Sport for the period 2021-2027.

It has an estimated budget of €26.2 billion. This is nearly double the funding compared to its predecessor programme (2014-2020).

The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.

The overall aim of Erasmus+ is, through lifelong learning, to support the educational, professional and personal development of people involved in Education, Training, Youth and Sport, in Europe and beyond, thereby contributing sustainable development, the creation of quality jobs, the promotion of innovation and social cohesion and the strengthening of European identity and active participation in society.
