About me: My academic status and my experience in Youth Work create a background that harmoniously combines Formal and Non Formal Education.
Economist, holding a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in the field of Economics of Education and currently Ph.D. candidate at the University of Western Macedonia (UOWM) in Greece, focused on the research of efficiency and effectiveness of the Greek educational system. Since 2011 I am teaching at the UOWM as a specialized research associate the courses of ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation’ while offering Careers advises and Consulting Services to Graduate Students as Assistant Director at the UOWM’s Career Office in Florina, Greece. I have several scientific publications related to youth, social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, youth unemployment, efficiency and effectiveness measuring tools.
Starting point in Youth Work for me was 2008 when I was elected president of the Local Youth Council of my town. Since then I have participated, worked and volunteer in several European and national projects cultivating the European citizenship identity.
Since 2014, after completing the annual SALTO training course “Training of Trainers (TOT) for Erasmus+ Youth of SALTO” my role as a Youth Trainer became more professional offering me opportunities in a global level.
Currently, I am member of the British Council Greece pool of trainers for “Lifes Skills” program, member of SALTO pool of trainers and Erasmus+ evaluator in education and training for the State Scholarships Foundation (ΙΚΥ) in Greece.
